Health & Safety Policy

RCS recognise our responsibilities and duties to comply with Legal and other requirements. In conducting our business we are committed in providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work related injury and ill health which will be appropriate to the purpose, size and context of our organization and be specific to the nature of our occupational health and safety risks and opportunities.

We will set health and safety objectives that will be monitored and reviewed annually.
We will maintain a register of relevant health and safety legislation which will be reviewed annually to ensure that it remains current.

We are committed in eliminating hazards and reducing occupational health and safety risks. We are committed to the continual improvement of our health and safety management system. We encourage the communication and participation with all workers across the company with regard to health and safety.

Our statement of policy is to:

Ensure that Health and Safety will never be compromised for any reason whatsoever.
Identify the hazards to employees and third parties affected by our work and provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities.
Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment.
Ensure safe transport, storage, handling and use of hazardous substances.
Provide information, instruction, and supervision for employees.
Ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them appropriate and adequate training.
Work, through continuous improvement, to prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health.
Maintain safe and healthy working conditions.
Ensure access to competent health and safety advice and assistance in compliance with Regulation  of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
To review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals, which shall be at least annually.
Provide adequate resources (financial & otherwise) to ensure the effective implementation of this policy.

Review

This policy shall be reviewed on an annual basis and as and when necessary to reflect changes in relevant legislation.
